Most finalists are students from international schools or residents in Shenzhen. While some have come to Shenzhen for short-term exchange programs, the others have lived in the city for many years.
Each contestant will be given three minutes to deliver a speech in Chinese. A word-guessing game will be the second part where contestants are paired up into five groups. Each group member will take turns to explain the words he or she sees on the screen in Chinese.
After the game, the contestants will demonstrate their Chinese talents by performing a Chinese dance, singing a song in Chinese or doing something else.
